My stay at the hotel was a mix of great and not so great experiences. The rooms were nicely decorated and spacious but very cold. The hotel's front location was convenient, but the service was efficient yet lacking warmth. The excellent downtown location offered easy access to stores and the Strand area, but parking was limited in the area. The dining experience was pleasant but a bit on the expensive side. Overall, a stay with some ups and downs.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room had some issues like being close to the elevator and having a loud AC, but it was wheelchair ready and had a unique French door overlooking the lively bar/lobby/cafe area. However, the upgrade to a beautiful suite for our 58th anniversary was a lovely touch.

Rooms

The room had a few drawbacks such as being situated across from the elevator and having a noisy AC. The bathroom was a little small, but it was wheelchair accessible. The French door provided a charming view of the bar/lobby/cafe below. The suite we received for our anniversary was absolutely stunning.
Service
7.0
The service throughout my stay was generally good. From the valet attendants to the desk staff and wait staff, everyone was friendly and very helpful. However, some staff members could benefit from more training on light conversation and local knowledge.
Location
9.0
The location of the hotel was convenient for exploring the city. It was within walking distance to shops and bars, which was a major plus. Being close to local restaurants and unique shopping areas added to the overall appeal. The proximity to the shipping docks provided a serene environment despite not being close to the beach.
Dining
6.0
The dining experience at Gracies was a bit disappointing. The food was expensive and not very good. However, I would definitely choose to stay at Tremont again despite this. The beef dishes were a standout.

7.2/10

The hotel is conveniently located near the historic district and the beach, making it a major plus point for exploring the area. The rooms are spacious with king or queen-sized beds and nice bathrooms, but being close to the rooftop bar could lead to some noise issues. The staff is welcoming and attentive to cleanliness protocols, though there were some lapses in service professionalism. The hotel's dining options were limited and pricey, particularly for breakfast. Overall, a decent choice for those looking to be centrally located.
